First registered on 1st June 1987 this 2. 5 Lux coupe was supplied by Porsche agent Dick Lovett in Swindon to its first owner Allied Dunbar. Finished in very appealing guards red. This Porsche has been extremely well looked after throughout its life. The service book is fully stamped from new up until July 2023 with the 60000 miles being at the supplying dealer. Around 1990 the car moved from Swindon into wales and from then the maintenance was carried out by an independent Porsche specialist. There was little mileage covered between 2000 and the present day, actually around 30000 miles.
It has recently had new cam belt and balance belt, new water pump, all tensioners and new radiator and service amounting to over £1300. The Porsche comes with extensive history including ll it’s original handbooks, huge folder of invoices for any work carried out, all neat and in date order, together with all old mot certificates. The current mileage is showing 138500 and it has all been documented.
The car drives without fault. The 2. 5 litre engine with 5 speed manual gearbox is just as it should be with no untoward noises and starts readily from hot or cold.
Overall condition is superb as the pictures show. It has all the marque extras of the era. There is an insurance approved immobiliser fitted and CD player.
The gentleman we purchased the car looked hard to find a nice example before purchasing this car but after a couple of years was just not using it, so it rarely left his garage. Reluctantly he decided to part with it.
