Description
NOW RESERVED FOR NEW OWNER
Motodrome are very pleased to offer this very smart 1966 Triumph Vitesse 6 Convertible.
A genuine factory convertible, not a conversion from a saloon, as evinced by the CV-suffix chassis number.
This matching-number example is one of the last of the sweet-running 1600 models built, and left the factory equipped with overdrive, and the rare Matador Red interior.
It looks very smart indeed in Old English White with a red stripe and red interior and black canvas hood, set off with Minilite-style wheels.
Odometer reading 21000 miles, although we think from the history that you can probably either put a 1 in front of that, or the odometer was zeroed in the early 1990’s, when it was restored. It underwent further restoration and a full repaint in the current colour scheme – it was originally conifer green, in 2020.
History wise we have a big file of bills and old MOT’s back to 1990, an original style handbook, and a heritage certificate showing it was built 10th December 1965 and originally supplied to Halls of Finchley for sale with such luxuries as overdrive, heater, and front disc brakes
It’s road tax, MOT, and ULEZ exempt, and ideal for summer.
On our own website, you’ll find our usual two videos, a comprehensive walkaround and driving impressions, which form part of the description.
