This more powerful 2. 5 version features factory-fitted overdrive, an outstanding interior with high-back, very comfortable front seats, a spin-on oil filter conversion, electronic ignition, and new SU HS6 carbs supplied by Turner Carbs. It also boasts a rear trunnion overhaul, new roto-flex doughnuts, rear shocks and bracket conversion to replace lever arms, a new radiator with short-reach filler neck, a new oil pump, crank reground, new x20 shells, a new windscreen, and a black mohair roof replacing the cheap plastic. The car has had thousands spent on it, with a binder full of receipts, old MOTs, and photographic evidence of a first-class restoration. The Triumph Vitesse convertible is a joy to drive, precise, and with its 2. 5-litre engine, keeps up well with modern traffic.
