This VW T2 camper van features a Danbury Rio conversion with a 3/ 4 size rock and roll bed and full length storage units and is in excellent condition. It has benefited from extensive work in the last 12 or so months, is very unique and ready and raring to go.
This included a full respray of the lower body in VW Orient Blue and the fitting of power steering and a wood rimmed steering wheel.
Also, our Trimshop carried out a full interior retrim in Muirhead Blue leather with a 'chocolate block' stitch pattern. At the same time, the front seats were upgraded to MX5 heated seats and the fabric of the pop top was replaced with a white and blue striped pattern.
Power is courtesy of a 1. 4 litre water cooled VW engine producing around 78 bhp. This is correct for the age of vehicle and gives far better fuel consumption and performance than the earlier air cooled engines. It also has the benefit of being ULEZ compliant.
