This beautifully rebuilt Porsche 911 was supplied by Porsche in Stuttgart on the 1st July 1983 to its first owner in Tripoli, Libya. This original RHD car was registered on UK soil in May 1984 and had its first service in the July of 1983 at 1238 miles. The 911 SC comes with its original service book and various manuals and a huge comprehensive file of maintenance history details the cars upkeep. The 911 covered around 100, 000 miles to 1999, the original service books covers the cars maintenance to this point, and then some major expenditure was carried out in the early 2000’s before the car was used very regularly with the mileage being taken up to almost 182, 000 before a complete reset and transformation. The car was purchased by the recent owner in 2017 in need of work, and at this point a major rebuild was carried out taking the 911 to an exceptionally high standard. Since this point, the car has covered just 200 miles since its major rebuild.
The 911 was requiring bodywork attention so the car was stripped down and treated to brand new wings and rear quarters. The bodyshell was completely rebuilt as required and then re-painted in Guards Red. The car was fitted up with various new trims as required. Mechanically the car was completely overhauled and thousands of pounds worth of expenditure was carried out with 911 specialists Strasse in Leeds. Work included a complete engine rebuild and mechanical overhaul. The Porsche was fully re-trimmed and finished to an exceptionally high standard but as the owner is now emigrating, he has decided to part with the car.
HSH 913Y is beautifully presented with a high quality, gleaming paint finish and the bodywork is superb throughout and the underside nicely painted body colour. The interior is stunning, the engine bay superbly presented and on the road the 911 is an absolute class act. It handles superbly, offers brilliant performance and with the nice option of a sunroof, it makes for a superb car for summer touring.
