1990 Ford Fiesta XR2i Special RS1800 , Built as a road going track car in and around 2018 , The XR2 had covered 13, 131 miles , To create the car it was fitted with an RS 1800 Speedo head showing at that time 43, 622 , All this is confirmed by DVLA MOT records , Due to family bereavement the car was stored until 2023 when I first acquired the car , Selling the car on in January 2024 with its full race head with race cams and alloy flywheel , The purchaser an engineer himself and motorsport enthusiast found the RS1800 a little unusable in traffic so he replaced the head with a rebuilt standard RS1800 head and cams , As the head was removed the top end rebuild was photographed and inspection of the bores found them to be virtually as new , A lightened steel flywheel was fitted , Its running Ross forged pistons , Steel crank , and conrods , Omex Kit and throttle bodies , Mappable ECU Cost in fitting £4106. 69 , Custom built four branch manifold , EBC race clutch , MK4 RS LSD gearbox , Braided fuel lines , Samco silicone hoses , Brakes , "Cosworth" front callipers , Drilled and grooved EBC discs , RS2000 rear callipers with drilled and grooved discs , Green stuff pads all round , Suspension , AVO coil overs all round , Polybushed and rose jointed , Fully adjustable bottom arms , Front and rear strut braces , Wheels , 7 inc by 15 inc Compomotive MT5 wheels with Yokohama 195/ 45/ 15 tyres , RS Turbo Recaro seats, , RS1800 Turbo bonnet , , , Extensive invoicing supplied along with spec sheets , Dyno sheets and current V5C , MOT tested in January 2024 by ourselves at 43, 808 miles , Expires January 2025 {No advisories) New battery just fitted , Starts and runs beautifully , Two keys, full Cobra Thatchem Category 1 alarm , Superb condition and little use since completion , I am delighted to offer this special, fast road Fiesta for sale.
