Description
This Austin 10 Cambridge Sliding Head Saloon was first registered on 31st December 1939. The history file with this car is very interesting. It notes that it was purchased in the early 80s by one of the previous owners in Scotland. When found it was in a very sorry state
A body off restoration began and was completed 2 years later. This including engine rebuild, transmission strip down. New headlining, carpets and seats retrimmed. Bumpers were rechromed and new wiring loom. There are many photographs during the restoration present
The Austin has stood the test of time well and is still well presented some 40 years later. There are improvements that could be made should you wish, such as the mats on running boards and there are some minor flaws in paint, but as pictures show it looks well. The engine runs very well and holds good oil pressure. It performed without fault on road test
It has retained its original number together with a large history file of old invoices, mots, handbooks etc. The trafficators are fully functioning
Overall a very nice example that is ready to use. We can arrange delivery anywhere in the uk after cleared funds and accept bank transfer or debit card payments
