Introducing this 1956 Mercedes 190SL, matching numbers, extremely early production and rare specification, in beautiful condition. Most car enthusiasts will already know that at Legendary Classics we have a soft spot for the iconic Mercedes 190SL. Over the years, we have bought and sold numerous "super leicht" 190 models in all conditions and configurations. It's a misconception that SL stands for "sport leicht" on the 190. The term "sport leicht" is only correct for the famous 300SL better known as the "Gullwing". As a dealer, it is rare that you are truly impressed by a car. This 1956 190SL does exactly that. This very early 190SL ticks all the rarity boxes and even makes our hearts beat a little faster. The car was fully restored just under 10 years ago and has recently been technically revised. This Mercedes has also benefited from a complete repaint in its bodywork.
