The 968 was mainly a restyled evolution of the 944 with design links visible to its predecessor. Design work was done by Harm Lagaay who had designed the 924 and the 944 as well. The front of the car largely resembled the top-of-the line 928, sharing its exposed pop-up headlamps and the integrated front bumper

Features: The 968 was Porsche's last front-engine car with a four-cylinder engine before the Porsche Macan in 2014. It was available as a coupe or cabriolet, and had a six-speed manual transmission or a Tiptronic transmission. The 968 also featured a VarioCam variable intake camshaft adjustment.
Performance: The 968 could go from 0 to 60 mph in 6. 5 seconds and had a top speed of 156 mph.
