The Porsche 968 Cabriolet represents the latest and most refined evolution of Porsche transaxle architecture from the 1990s. Thanks to its powerful four-cylinder engine, balanced weight distribution and six-speed manual gearbox, this model offers a pure and enjoyable driving experience, combined with the pleasure of a convertible.
This example was registered in the United States in 1995 and is presented today in old original condition. The bodywork shows scratches and dents. The paint shows signs of use with damage in the form of scratches and dings.
The underbody is easily improvable. The tyres still have a good tread but are old and therefore of limited use. The soft top is old and dry, but still usable. The interior is original and shows normal signs of use.
The chassis number has been re-stamped with certificate and is clearly legible, with the location on the bulkhead (no plaque present). The engine bay is in an honest and correct state, with worn pumps as a point of attention.
Mechanically, the vehicle is in an honest and correct condition. The engine runs well. Servicing is required; the timing history is not known. The battery is in good condition and could still serve for several years. The clutch and six-speed manual gearbox operate correctly. The brakes and parking brake also operate correctly.
Electrically, the horn, wipers, heating and dashboard operate. The lighting operates, but the right stop light and the third brake light do not function fully. The axles and suspension operate correctly.
