Description
HISTORY The Fiat 124 Sport Spider was designed by the famous Pininfarina design house. But it wasn't someone with a pretty Italian surname, but Tom Tjaarda, who created the successful model. He was also behind the Detomaso Pantera, the Saab 900 and even the Ford Fiesta.
As for the engine, it too was designed by a very attractive name: Aurelio Lampredi, a Ferrari engineer who designed this double overhead camshaft engine.
The most popular and sought-after design of the 124 Sport Spider is the first version with small chrome bumpers and a wooden dashboard.
