Description
Ultimate model 'Challenge Stradale' Lexan version rare 1 of only 50 Some cars are fast, some are beautiful and some are real driving machines. The Challenge Stradale? All three. More than just a sharper 360 Modena, it's a true race car for the road - raw, exhilarating and built for pure performance. Inspired by Ferrari's Challenge racing series, the Stradale eliminates the superfluous and refines every aspect of the 360. No carpet, no soundproofing, just exposed metal, carbon fibre and an obsession with weight reduction. The result? A car 110 kg lighter than the standard Modena, offering an unprecedented visceral driving experience. At its heart, the naturally-aspirated 3. 6-litre V8 roars to life at 8, 500rpm, producing 425bhp with razor-sharp throttle response. Add to this the Enzo-derived carbon-ceramic brakes and a race-tuned gearbox that delivers lightning-fast gear changes, and you have a machine built for speed, whether on the road or the track. Brutal, beautiful and uncompromising, the Challenge Stradale is no ordinary Ferrari. Every time you get behind the wheel, it's an event. We're delighted to present this superb example, one of only 50 factory-built 360 Challenge Stradales fitted with the coveted Lexan sliding glass. With total production limited to just 1, 288 units, the Challenge Stradale is already one of the rarest and most sought-after Ferraris of the early 2000s. But these ultra-rare Lexan windows give it a new dimension. Not only do they reinforce the car's already track-focused character, but they also evoke the spirit of the legendary F40, the 'Godfather of Supercars'. Few Ferrari road cars have been fitted with these iconic sliding windows from the factory, making them exceptional collectors' items. This incredible Challenge Stradale was delivered new to its proud first owner in Germany by Eberlein Automobile in Kassel and has been fitted to perfection. Black Alcantara interior with bucket seats, 4-point harness, roll bar, carbon door panels and centre console, striking yellow rev counter, even a radio - every detail has been carefully chosen for the ultimate blend of performance and exclusivity. Finished in Rosso Scuderia with Ferrari badges and ordered without the usual racing stripe, this example stands out in the best possible way. It simply doesn't get any better than this! This Challenge Stradale needs absolutely nothing - just turn the key and enjoy! It has covered just over 40, 000 km since leaving the factory and is in an exceptional state of preservation. The care it has received over the years is immediately evident in its meticulously maintained history. As well as the carefully stamped service booklet, all the original manuals and leather pouch are present, along with a complete file of invoices. It's no secret that these cars age like fine wine, but let's be honest, the real magic is always in the driving experience. And this isn't just a standard road car with a bit of extra power - no, this machine is a direct descendant of the circuit-racing Ferrari, and you feel it in every fibre of its being. At cruising speed, it's surprisingly civilised, almost effortless. The ride is firm, but never harsh. But shift a few gears, put your foot down and suddenly there's a ferocious bark from the exhaust - everything sharpens, the adrenaline kicks in and you remember exactly why this car is so special. No wonder people call it the loudest V8 Ferrari ever made! And when it comes to mastering this beast, you get Ferrari's ceramic brakes as standard, the same ones used on the mighty Enzo. Needless to say, the stopping power is simply phenomenal. Every drive in this car is an event - it's raw, it's engaging, it speaks to you, it challenges you to push harder, to have fun, and when you do? It rewards you like nothing else. This Challenge Stradale comes with the complete package, just the way you want it. It includes two original keys, the full set of owner's and service manuals, and the fully stamped service booklet, all neatly stored in the original Ferrari leather pouch. The car also retains its original tools, emergency accessories and tyre repair kit, all still in their cases...
