1934 Riley 9 Lynx - Four Door
The Riley Lynx made its first appearance at the 1932 motor show. A sporting 4 seat tourer, it was to replace the earlier, more upright ‘Plus Ultra’ tourer
Originally, the Lynx was a two door design, with a panel that fully enclosed the hood when folded. This design was to continue until late 1933, when the Lynx was restyled and became a larger four door model, and, while still retaining the sporting character, it now offered considerably more space for rear seat passengers.
For 1934, there was the option of preselector transmission.
This example was first registered in March 1934 and is fitted with the ENV preselector gearbox
An older restoration, the car presents very well in its livery of cream with red leather hide and red wheels. The hood and tonneau cover are both in good order.
