The Triumph TR6, produced between 1969 and 1976, was one of the most iconic British roadsters of its time. With its elegant, muscular design by Michelotti and revised by Karmann, it immediately appealed to fans of classic sports cars. Under its bonnet, it was fitted with a 2. 5-litre in-line six-cylinder engine, producing 150 bhp in the fuel-injected version for Europe, and 104 bhp in the carburettor models for the United States. This robust powerplant, combined with a four-speed manual gearbox (sometimes with overdrive), delivers a dynamic and enjoyable drive, while the separate chassis and independent suspension give the TR6 an excellent balance between comfort and sportiness. Today, the Triumph TR6 is a sought-after collector's car, appreciated for its authentic character and driving pleasure. This 1974 Triumph TR6, with 91, 000 km, is a magnificent representation of the famous British roadster. Fully restored, it is in exceptional condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. Its rare, brilliant Topaz Orange colour gives it a unique presence on the road. Its stainless steel exhaust ensures a sporty, long-lasting sound, while its Koni suspension significantly improves roadholding. It is also fitted with an oil cooler, optimising engine cooling and guaranteeing enhanced performance, particularly over long distances or during sporty driving. In terms of equipment, it comes with a hard top, perfect for winter, as well as a new bonnet cover and tonneau cover for optimum protection. The interior features a central armrest for comfort and practicality on long journeys, four new Michelin XWX tyres for perfect grip, and a pair of H4 headlights for efficient lighting. A new spare wheel is also included. Finally, a complete overhaul was carried out in May 2023, attesting to its perfect working order. This TR6 is ready to take to the road, offering authentic, unrivalled driving pleasure.
