1967 Porsche 911 Coupé matching rally/ race car Because the customer was unable to attend, this car is available again: Beautiful SWB; for the true enthusiast! This 1967 Porsche 911 Coupé SWB is a completely solid and damage free car. It has been restored and made suitable for rallies and track days. The car's bodywork and engine match numbers and the car's original colour is Hellelfenbein. The engine was built by Duel in the Netherlands as a 906 race/ rally engine and fitted with dual ignition. The gearbox is a short-ratio gearbox with a limited-slip differential. The engine and gearbox have been overhauled by Duel in the Netherlands. The car's chassis has also been revised and adapted for sporty driving. The 911 also has a 100-litre fuel tank. Our starting point was a '67 911 with a 4-speed gearbox and matching numbers. The bodywork was in very good condition but the paintwork was a little dull and was repainted. The car was very original and undamaged. Gearbox number used: 7190129 type 901/ 07 5 speed, overhauled and rebuilt by Duel at Heerhugowaard as a close ratio rally gearbox with 904 main axle and ZF limited slip differential. The car was delivered on 07-04-1967 at VW Pacific in Culver City CA to a Michael Niellbert of San Diego. The kardex is present with the car. After some sheet metal work, including new front fenders, the car was repainted in its original colour. The bonnet and boot lid are sprayed in Aetna Blau but currently wrapped in orange The body: - New windscreen, - To make it lighter : Acrylic glass rear window, lower anti-drum omitted, sound insulation under upholstery omitted, lightweight rally seats, radio omitted, rear bench seats omitted, magnesium timing box (1968) on engine (original aluminium), Total weight of the car with engine oil and gearbox oil but without petrol = 940 kg - 100-litre fuel tank (replica) - Roll-over bar - 4-point seat belts - Additional oil cooler in front right mudguard - Original towing eye at rear The engine : - The base is the original aluminium engine # 9120xx. - The block is cast, the bearing bridges are ground and fitted with piston jets for better cooling, oil bypass modification - 3. 2 litre oil pump - Balanced and superfinished crankshaft (all work by Van Rijn) - 2. 2S piston and cylinder assembly - Fully revised 2. 7 S cylinder heads, new 2. 7S big valves, new valve seats, cylinder heads surfaced for slightly higher compression. Compression is not exactly the same but will be around 10:1.
