MX5 Mk2 Nevada: 1 Private Owner - Warranted 9600k Miles - FSH
Launched in February 1989 at a time when small roadsters had almost disappeared from the market, the MX5 quickly became the spiritual successor to the MGB, Triumph Spitfire and Alfa Romeo Spider.
Sales were strong and the second generation unveiled in 1997 boasted an increase in power, improved suspension/ handling, a more refined interior while still retaining the utterly addictive driving experience delivered by the Mk1.
At Milestones we do try to keep a small number of ‘emerging classics’ that can be used on a regular basis as a very cost effective daily driver or simply to be tucked away and used on special occasions while going up in value.
In August 2003 Mr John Higgins purchased his limited edition MX5 Mk2 from Tunbridge Wells Mazda. The car he chose was a limited edition ‘Nevada’ in Cerion Silver that included 16” Alloys, Nardi Steering Wheel/ Gear Changer and the higher specification interior. John cosseted his beloved MX5. She was a high days and holidays car that spent more time being polished than being driven.
