Description
The Mazda MX-5 is a lightweight two-seat convertible sports car celebrated for its timeless design, balanced rear-wheel-drive handling and reputation as one of the most engaging modern classics ever built. First registered in June 2001, this particularly well-preserved example is finished in an elegant green exterior with a contrasting black interior, presenting exactly the kind of understated sophistication that suits a cherished open-top British summer car.
Having covered just under 36, 000 miles from new, this MX-5 has averaged approximately 1, 714 miles per year when viewed against its MOT history, a remarkable indication of its gentle use throughout its life. Adding to its appeal, the car was dry stored and kept off the road between 2008 and 2022, helping to preserve its condition and ensuring it remains an exceptionally honest example. It has had only four previous owners, each clearly treating the car with the care a low mileage example deserves.
The history file includes the original Mazda owners manual, a dealer stamped service record, giving reassurance to any enthusiast or collector seeking provenance as well as enjoyment. More recently, the car has benefitted from new rear discs and pads, four new tyres and new front brake calipers, meaning it has already received important maintenance to keep it driving exactly as it should.
This is a wonderfully genuine example of a modern classic that offers style, low ownership in equal measure, and would make a superb addition to any collection or an ideal weekend touring car for someone seeking one of the finest examples available.
Viewing is strictly by appointment only to allow the car to be presented in the manner it deserves.
