Description
2007 - Ferrari F430 French registration Chassis no. ZFFEZ58Bthe details below "Mechanical gearbox, Rosso Barchetta paintwork: the F430 to collect! "The presentation of a new Ferrari is a major event, a rare one, scrutinised by all car enthusiasts... The 2004 Paris Motor Show was the scene of this event: the 360 Modena, a commercial success considered by many as the passage to the modern era for Ferrari, was replaced by the F430, the new saloon car with a central-rear V8 engine. The newcomer was much more comfortable to drive, thanks to a new cocktail of aids, and also more powerful, with 490 bhp for 1, 350 kg!
Our example was delivered new in June 2007 from the Zender factory in Germany, in an absolutely unique configuration. Some of the options are already very interesting (carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon finish for the cabin, absence of the Cavalino on the front wings, yellow rev counter), but there are two elements that make this car truly important... The first, and most visible, is of course its extremely rare colour (not to say unique among F430 Coupés): Rosso Barchetta 322, a non-metallic dark red, taken from the Ferrari single-seaters of the 1950s. Where the 360s were spoiled with a few examples wearing this colour, the F430s are much rarer, with only one Spider version known in the United States, and this F430 Coupé, which has remained hidden in the collection of its current owner for many years... The second point is crucial, and makes the car even more desirable: the car is equipped with a manual gearbox! Sold as standard with an F1 gearbox, only a handful of cars had ever been sold with this 6-speed gearbox and its legendary aluminium grille... The F430 is also the last rear-central V8 saloon to be fitted with this legendary mechanical gearbox on request from the factory.
After four years in Germany and some 12, 000 km, the car was sold to its current owner, an important collector from the Paris region. He used the car until 2017, before deciding to give it a complete new coat of paint (photos of the work on request), and then to store it to keep it in this perfect condition. Today, the car has just over 59, 600 km on the clock, and is in a rare state of preservation for F430s! The car's history is fully documented in a comprehensive file, which of course includes the service history, stamped from the outset.
Here's your chance to buy one of the finest F430s ever produced... This one really does tick all the boxes, so make no mistake, prices are already starting to rise!
