Speedbroker bring to the market this wonderful recently built Westfield XI, having been lovingly assembled by a keen enthusiast and finished in British Racing Green over Red leather interior. In our opinion the XI offers one of the most authentic throwbacks to 1950s motoring and racing, whilst delivering a useable classic, easy and cost effective maintenance and jaw dropping looks
With the Lotus XI recreation being the first project Westfield founder - engineer and historic Grand Prix racer Chris Smith developed in 1982, and such was its popularity it became the foundation of the creation of the Westfield company. It was a highly accurate homage to the legendary Colin Chapmans Lotus XI 1950s racecar. As such, it became synonymous with the brand - becoming Westfields most successful offering. With its fibreglass body and traditionally utilising the 1275BMC A- series engine from the MG midget, the power output was humble, but due to its exceptionally light weight (under 500kg!) had ample character and provides a driving experience like very few other cars can.
