Delivered by OPC Road Range of Liverpool on 1st November 1997, this is an early 986 2. 5 litre Boxster with a five speed manual gearbox and a plastic rear window.
It was specified with automatic air conditioning and a centre console and comes with a wind deflector between the head restraints and a luggage net. The hood is electric and is straightforward to operate.
The fully stamped Service Book backs up the mileage of 53, 000 and there is a complete Porsche dealer pack and the Boxster comes with two keys.
We have completed a thorough re-commission on the car after a period of little use and the work includes replacing the cambelt and water pump, new tyres all round, new brakes, overhauling the air conditioning, new coil packs, a new starter motor and a service. The MOT runs to March 2026. A new clutch was fitted 1, 500 miles ago.
In really smart condition, there are a few chips on the paintwork to show that the car is 28 years old, but little evidence of wear elsewhere and it drives very well with smooth power and excellent road manners.
