We are delighted to announce the arrival what we consider to be the best collection of Yamaha XT500's ever to be offered for sale. Amongst the 8 that we have for sale is this 1976, XT500 in the iconic white and red paint scheme. These 1976 models were the first of the iconic XT500's to be produced and remain the most sought after amongst the range. This example was first registered in the US before being brought to and registered in the UK in 2014. It then underwent a full restoration by XT500 Guru's A2 Restorations. The bike shows 7, 931 miles on the speedometer and the bike will receive a service and fresh MOT (although not legally required) prior to sale.
The 1976 Yamaha XT500 is the original year of production for this legendary dual-sport motorcycle. It marked the beginning of Yamaha’s big four-stroke single-cylinder “thumper” era and laid the foundation for the entire XT, TT, and SR series.
