Description
1930 Austin Seven ‘AF’ Chummy Tourer - from our private collection
We are delighted to offer this delightful 1930 Austin Seven Chummy, now available from our own collection where it has been well cared for and regularly maintained.
Introduced mid-1930, the ‘AF’ Series marked the final incarnation of the much-loved Austin Seven Tourers with the vintage-style ‘Chummy’ body - characterised by small doors and lightweight aluminium coachwork - before steel-bodied production began with the ‘AG’ Series in late 1931.
This particular example is notably correct, having been restored to a high standard some years ago. It presents very well indeed, and is complete with excellent, well-fitting weather equipment including a two-piece tonneau cover and hood bag.
It retains its original Surrey registration number and has been thoughtfully updated with discreet flashing indicators and hazard lights for added safety on modern roads.
Throughout our ownership, this Chummy has proven to be remarkably reliable, offering cheerful and authentic vintage motoring in a charming and usable package.
More photos will be taken this week and a video will be updated shortly!
