Description
Completed production in 1970 and first registered in the USA in September 1971, this Porsche boasts matching engine and chassis numbers.
Historical records indicate that the car underwent a restoration in 2014/ 2015 which included:
Repaint in original Silver Metallic
Interior retrim
Gearbox rebuild
Installation of a sports exhaust
Replacement of all chrome fittings
In 2015, the car was sold to a new owner who undertook a meticulous restoration to bring it back to factory specification.
The original matching-numbers engine was expertly rebuilt by Redtek.
New front and rear shock absorbers were installed, and the interior underwent a complete retrim in its original factory colours.
Additionally, the original Recaro sports seats were re-fitted.
The Porsche was enjoyed and regularly maintained until 2024, when ownership transferred once again to the current keeper. Over the past year alone, more than £6, 000 has been invested into servicing and remedial work, including recently fitted new brake discs all round and machined hubs.
Today, the car is an absolute joy to drive—tight, responsive, and surprisingly quick.
Having handled numerous F-series Porsche 911s, we can confidently say this particular example really does stand out as one of our favourites to drive.
