THE FERRARI F8 SPIDER
The 2023 Ferrari F8 Spider represents the zenith of open-top mid-rear-engine supercar performance, combining relentless power with breathtaking design. Launched as the convertible counterpart to the acclaimed F8 Tributo, the F8 Spider continues Ferrari's tradition of engineering excellence, revisiting many of the best attributes of the much-loved Ferrari 488. So impressive was the Spider iteration, all 2023 models of the F8 were built as Spiders, waving farewell to the Tributo in its rear-view mirror.
The compact 3. 9-liter V8 engine with two mighty turbo-chargers is at the core of the F8part of Ferrari's award-winning engine family. This powerplant delivers 710 horsepower at 8, 000rpm, with 568 lb-ft of torque at 3, 250rpm, propelling the F8 Spider from 0 to 60mph in just 2. 8 seconds. The car boasts a top speed of 211mph, made possible by Ferrari's lightning-quick 7-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission. The steering is incredibly light while plentiful and dependable stopping power comes from carbon-ceramic brakes. The suspension system features magnetorheological (MR) dampers, which comprise a fluid that changes viscosity when a magnet field is applied. The F8 Spider's sculpted bodywork was designed by Ferrari's 'Centro Stile' in collaboration with the aerodynamics team, developed to enhance downforce and reduce drag. The S-duct front design, sleek LED headlamps, and active rear spoiler optimize airflow reference design elements from the Ferrari Pista as well as Ferrari's Formula 1 favorites. The folding hardtop roof can be deployed in just 14 seconds, even at speeds up to 28mph.
THE CAR OFFERED
This F8 Spider is finished in a steely Grigio Scuro with lots of carbon fiber accents to provide gravitas and reduce weight. The wheels run on special optioned diamond polished forged wheels with 'gold' calipers that match the orange Ferrari insignia and the cabin accents.
