Description
This Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II was bought by its last owner, a British diplomat, 2 years ago from Ghost Motors, a well-known and reputable dealership in Kent, UK, for £26, 500 (31, 000 euros). It was delivered new to Johannesburg in South Africa - hence its particularly sound structural condition - and repatriated by the same first owner in 1991 when he returned home. As a result, this car is 2nd hand and is painted Exeter Blue, a non-metallic midnight blue, with beige upholstery and tinted windows, a combination that is both beautiful and discreetly effective - in short, all the chic of the English.
The car has covered 86500 miles since leaving the Crewe factory in 1980 and remains in excellent condition apart from a few inconspicuous paint defects, but drives perfectly. Since its purchase, it has been serviced twice, with invoices in hand. The air conditioning works. This version of the Silver Shadow, towards the very end of production, was the most accomplished and therefore quite sought-after in the collection. The model itself has just celebrated its 60th anniversary and occupies an important place in the history of the prestigious British marque, as it was a resounding commercial success. Right-hand drive RHD, British registration document. For the French registration document, plan to go through customs with payment of 5. 5% import VAT (on the invoice amount to be defined together....) and FFVE certificate at a cost of 60 euros. We can of course take care of customs if you wish. Visible by appointment at the Franco-Belgian border near Tourcoing and 15 minutes from Lille or in our showroom in Ashford in Kent. Delivery possible throughout mainland France and beyond at cost price by specialised carrier. English spoken.
