The Mercedes 320 Cabriolet B was based on the long chassis and was probably the most elegant 4-seater body variant that Mercedes-Benz offered for the W142 series.
The model was first introduced in 1937. From 1939 onward, the 320 was delivered with the increased-displacement 3. 4-liter engine, which also powers our vehicle.
Our car was bought by the last owner in 2001 in an unrestored condition
The restoration took 8 years and was carried out with extreme meticulousness.
We have two large folders with countless photos and invoices.
In the years that followed, the car was driven and continually improved.
For example, after a long search, a new steering gear was found and installed, the same applies to the differential.
The result is one of the best-running pre-war vehicles we know
All old parts have been retained and can be purchased.
Also included is a 2-piece suitcase set and an original Mercedes 320 brochure.
According to our research, only 56 Mercedes 320 Cabriolet B with a 3. 4l engine were built.
