Just been put through an extensive service (please see the last picture), a smooth and responsive daily driver that returns great mileage.
Apart from that this is an all original pristine car with clean bodywork. The W209 or the C209 as all Mercedes-Benz coupes are called, is one of the best designed cars amongst its class. It takes its front-end from the W203 C-Class and the rear-end from the W211 E-Class, making it only comparable to the much later W207 E-Class coupe, and not the C204 C-Class coupe. Even after this model was discontinued, was still being compared with newer coupes other than the BMW E46, the E92 and C204 C-Class coupe. Such were its proportions that it belonged right in the middle of the E and C Class, corelating its design to both the classes.
This is one of the pre-2015 Mercedes-Benz models that have exceptional build quality and don't require any servicing and repair as frequently as the newer models. Parts can be sourced worldwide and they're not expensive.
Also, these cars have great tuning potential and could even be retro-fitted with newer components such as: the 7G-Tronic gearbox and also the later Z. F. 8-speed gearboxes, boosting its performance all the way to 2025 and beyond.
This is the only car in its class that despite being an entry level model in its line-up leading all the way to the CLK63 AMG, comes with a 184hp supercharged 4-cylinder engine as standard.
Despite having the sporting pedigree, it maintains a subtly classy and elegant look and silky smooth responsive driving dynamics. It goes fast but doesn't shout about it or make the driver feel that its fast at all.
