We were delighted to acquire it, because an Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon is already rare, but its exceptional history makes it a fantastic car for Alfa Romeo enthusiasts seeking originality.
The car is technically in excellent condition and runs perfectly; the 1. 3-litre boxer engine naturally possesses that unmistakable sound.
Externally it shows a few signs of wear, but nothing off-putting for a car from 1988.
The interior upholstery is well kept.
The Alfa Romeo 33 is a compact car from the Italian marque Alfa Romeo. The 33 succeeded the Alfasud in the mid-range front-wheel-drive compact segment in 1983. The name 33 references Alfa Romeo's Tipo 33 race cars from the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1985, a wagon version of the 33 arrived on the market under the name 33 Giardinetta, and a four-wheel-drive system was offered. In 1987, the 33 received its first light facelift (Series II) and a 1, 712 cm3 engine became available. The four-wheel-drive system disappeared again and the wagon name was changed to 33 Sportwagon.
