Description
This Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon is undoubtedly unique. Supplied new in 1988 by the Alfa Romeo dealer in Geleen, Limburg, Netherlands, it is one of a kind.
Its previous owner, a true Alfa Romeo aficionado, decided to sell it due to lack of space.
We were delighted to acquire it, as an Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon is already rare, but its exceptional history makes it a fantastic car for Alfa Romeo enthusiasts seeking originality.
The car is technically in excellent condition and runs perfectly; the 1. 3 litre boxer engine naturally possesses that so recognisable sound.
On the exterior, the car shows some signs of use, but nothing off-putting for a car from 1988.
The interior upholstery is well cared for.
The Alfa Romeo 33 is a compact car from the Italian marque Alfa Romeo. The 33 succeeded the Alfasud in the mid‑range front‑wheel‑drive compact segment in 1983. The name 33 refers to Alfa Romeo’s racing cars Tipo 33 from the 1960s and 1970s. In 1985, an estate version of the 33 arrived on the market under the name 33 Giardinetta and a four‑wheel drive system was offered. In 1987, the 33 received its first minor facelift (Series II) and a 1, 712 cm3 engine became available. The four‑wheel drive system disappeared again and the estate’s name was changed to 33 Sportwagon.
