HERE IS a very rare bird indeed. Actually it's not a bird at all; it's a beetle. A VW Beetle, that world-wide iconic motor car. This is one of the last run of Beetles built in Germany. Only 300 were manufactured as a "Last Edition" and this beautiful old girl is number 118, as displayed on its dashboard plaque.
A 1978 model, it is the 1200cc flat screen variant as were all 300 of Last Edition Beetles. In super condition with only the most minor paint imperfections here and there, and nothing which detracts from its overall beauty. Everything and anything that has needed doing has been done by the current owner over the past six years including a full interior re-trim in black vinyl. This remains in immaculate, almost untouched condition. The car's underside, heater channels, floors etc need no improvements whatsoever and she will come with a fresh MoT for the next owner's peace of mind. Obviously this is no longer a requirement on a vehicle of this age.
The registration, understandably, does not remain with the car which will receive its original reg. of UKU 119S.
A mega rare opportunity to join the "Last Edition Club." Do your research if you are not aware of their values. Very reasonably priced at £11, 995. Service records are quite explicit and so hence mileage from new is now 106k. Having said that, she has been lovingly cared for and drives superbly.
