1982 Triumph Acclaim 1. 3 HLS 5-Gang manuell.
This unrestored, original condition Triumph Acclaim was supplied by ourselves 7 years ago to a local chap who has now unfortunately had to give up driving. This Acclaim has covered just 53000 miles from new. During his ownership he treasured it, covering under 3000 miles, never taking it out in the rain and always stored in a dry garage.
Der Triumph Acclaim war mit einem von Honda entwickelten 1, 3-Liter-OHC-Motor, hergestellt in Japan, der bekannt war für Zuverlässigkeit und Leistungsbereitschaft, was zu einer verlässlichen Leistung des Acclaim beitrug.
The car is in amazingly original condition throughout. Finished in typical 80, s colours of ‘Cashmere’ Gold metallic with contrasting beige cloth trim it really is a blast from the past ! When did you last see one! The body paintwork and interior is very nice indeed. The under bonnet is super clean and original. The underside is is also totally original having never had any welding repairs, still protected in the rust protection as applied by the factory when new which has certainly worked in preserving the car in the condition it presents today. Mechanically the very smooth Honda engine bursts into life upon demand performing extremely well mated to a slick 5 speed gearbox.
Das Auto befindet sich durchgehend in erstaunlich originalem Zustand. Lackierung in typischen 80er-Jahre-Farben 'Cashmere' Goldmetallic mit kontrastierendem beigem Stoffinterieur – es ist wirklich ein Relikt der Vergangenheit! Wann haben Sie jemals eines gesehen? Die Karosserie lackierung und das Interieur sind wirklich schön. Der Motorraum ist äußerst sauber und original. Unterseite ist ebenfalls völlig original, es gab nie Schweißreparaturen, bleibt geschützt durch den Werkskorrosionsschutz, der bei Neufahrzeugen aufgetragen wurde und der die Erhaltung des Autos in dem heutigen Zustand bewirkt hat. Mechanisch erwacht der sehr geschmeidige Honda-Motor auf Wunsch zum Leben und läuft außergewöhnlich gut, gekoppelt an ein geschmeidiges 5-Gang-Getriebe.
The original Triumph push button radio is still fitted. We have the original wallet containing the Triumph Acclaim handbook, radio manual and a ‘Autodata car repair manual.

A very succesfull model in its day with Triumph selling 133, 000 Acclaims although now, according to ‘How many left’ there are only 43 Triumph Acclaim HLS, s licensed on the UK roads. It is amazing this example has survived and incredibly just 53000 miles!

Now classed as a historic vehicle it benefits from free road tax and Mot exemption however this Acclaim has an Mot until September 2026 with no advisories for your peace of mind
