We are very pleased to offer a fantastic 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. Finished in Marina blue with a very stylish contrasting interior and with great original looks. Restored in 2017 and settled in nicely having had all of the hard work completed to future proof for its next lucky owner. It received a huge amount of love and attention which covered all of the important Beetle areas. It had a complete new floor pan, heater channels, front and rear sections and a full bare metal respray in its original Marina blue. It was further enhanced with a new wiring loom, fuel tank, disc brake conversion and electronic ignition. The results are fantastic, it is gleaming underneath and well detailed.
On the road, this Beetle performs well, the unique Beetle driving experience is on offer. This is a 1200 model and was fitted with the 1300cc single port engine from new. It is very responsive and performs very well and easily keeping up with modern traffic. The gearbox is precise and its a great all round package to drive. Disc brakes give and extra level of confidence and wider profile Pirelli tyres gives it plenty of grip. The distinct driving style and of course soundtrack makes these legendary cars fun to drive and they have earned there global reputation deservedly.
The interior is beautifully presented and has been retrimmed to a high standard with blue check seats, matching door cards and a quality fitted carpet set. It also features a Sony CD/ AUX with Clarion speakers, a wonderful wood rim Mota-Lita steering wheel and very useful rear seat belts.
This Beetle has an excellent shell and as you can see form the images is body coloured underneath and inside all four wheel arches. The engine bay is nicely presented so is the front trunk. The paintwork is well presented with only very minor blemishes and the chrome work is gleaming. This Beetle offers its lucky new owner the chance to enjoy a quality Beetle whilst benefiting from all the hard work that has been done.
The Beetle has been serviced, checked and driven and is also MOT and Tax exempt.
