Fresh in from Japan we have this fantastic 1984 Yamaha TY250 Scottish. This lovely example has been stripped for competition so no lights, speedo etc. The wiring is still present so a lights can be fitted.. The autolube system is all in place and working, the fuel tank replaced with a plastic competition one. She starts, runs and rides without issue and is registered on an age related plate. Mot and RFL exempt. ULEZ compliant. Please note that this bike is sold, As is" for competition use and is without warranty

The Yamaha TY250 53Y is a late-generation trials motorcycle from the TY series, produced in the early 1980s. It features a lightweight frame, responsive suspension, and a 246cc two-stroke engine tailored for observed trials riding.
• Model Code: 53Y refers to a specific frame/ engine designation used in Yamaha’s internal coding for TY250 models around 1983–1984.
• TY Series Origins: The TY250 was first introduced in 1973, developed in collaboration with trials champion Mick Andrews. It became a benchmark for trials bikes through the 1970s and early 1980s.
• 53Y Variant: This version represents one of the final evolutions of the air-cooled TY250 before Yamaha transitioned to the TY250R monoshock and later liquid-cooled models.

Fresh in from Japan we have this fantastic 1984 Yamaha TY250 Scottish. This lovely example has only covered 1, 437km or around 898 miles. She starts, runs and rides without issue and is supplied on an age related plate with 6 months warranty. A full service has been completed along with new oil, genuine Yamaha air filter and we have replaced the Swingarm chain guide. Mot and RFL exempt. ULEZ compliant.
