Step back in time with this incredibly rare 1985 Ford Transit Mk 2 now available at Fine Lines Classic Cars. Purchased from 'Don Everall' Motor Sales, Wolverhampton by 'Stow Heath' Willenhall, Infants and re-source area for hearing impaired children until it was passed to its last private owner in 2007 who owned it for 18 years to date.
This exceptional time warp Transit has covered a mere 22000 miles from new. A true survivor, the condition difficult to describe. Incredibly, it doesn’t seem possible but has never had any welding repairs in its life with all original chassis, outriggers, floors and sills etc. All the body panels, wings, doors, bonnet, tailgate and valances appear to be 100% original with absolutely no signs of any previous repairs with factory fresh panel fit. The paintwork is beautiful with a glorious lustre and depth of shine. The interior, original seats, floor coverings and headlining are very much like new. The under bonnet is immaculately clean and original.
Full 'Custom' specification including cloth seats, larger steering wheel, clock in dash cluster, front spoiler and padded dash.
A brand new 'Weber' carburettor, cam belt, water pump and battery have just been fitted.
We have the original Ford service book, service and repair invoices, previous Mots and interestingly a note book book with hand written entries detailing every journey undertaken by the school.
