Lamborghini is an Italian tractor brand, created by mechanic and designer Ferruccio Lamborghini, who would later also build sports cars under the same name: Lamborghini.
History
In 1949, Ferruccio Lamborghini established his first tractor factory in Cento. After three years, the factory switched from producing Carioches to manufacturing diesel-engined tractors designed by Lamborghini himself. Within a few years, Lamborghini had made a name for itself in the tractor industry and was the largest tractor manufacturer in Italy. In 1959, the company expanded its production to include burners and air conditioners. In 1972, the company was acquired by SAME. Later, Hürlimann (1979) and Deutz-Fahr (1995) joined, resulting in the creation of SAME Deutz-Fahr.

Specially designed for work in the steep Italian hills, these 3-cylinder diesel tractors were built in small numbers. The 3CTL was powered by an air-cooled 2. 2L 3-cylinder diesel engine that produced 40 hp—enough to climb almost any field, no matter how steep. This 1950 3CTL adds the character of originality to that appeal.
