Works machine used by Barry Sheene to win the 1978 MCN Superbike Championship
Only 2 or 3 examples were made for factory team members Barry Sheene and Pat Hennen
According to Ray Battersby’s official Suzuki book this is the only one which still exists
The frame and engine numbers are correct as shown in the book
The present owner purchased this bike direct from Suzuki GB in 1986
It was totally rebuilt in the Suzuki race shop prior to selling
