This superb 1968 Almond Green Morris Traveller was the subject of a comprehensive restoration a few years ago and has been looked after since keeping her in this exceptionally clean and tidy condition.
Bodywork and Exterior: The Almond Green paintwork on the Traveller is lovely and has a great attention grabbing shine, although she has been used since being painted so has the Minor imperfection here and there although nothing to detract from the way she looks.
The Chrome, trims and rubbers on the Minor are all in very good order.
The ash frame is excellent and has aged (coloured to perfection), she has a brand new set of tyres and reconditioned wheels fitted.
Underside and Structure: Structurally the Minor has had a lot of restoration work done to a high standard, so there are no signs of rust or rot underneath the car.
As can be seen from the pictures the engine bay is exceptionally clean and the rear inner wings and boot section floor are the same.
So you can buy with peace of mind.
Mechanics: The Minor is bags of fun to drive, her 1098cc A series engine starts and runs well, pulling her along nicely.
The standard 4 speed gearbox is good with clean changes and free from crunches or whines as is the rest of the transmission.
Her brakes although standard pull her up well.
The suspension does its job well and she rides very smoothly all in all she is great to drive and is factory standard so can be upgraded to make her more modern if required.
Interior: The Travellers Interior was replaced on restoration and is still in keeping with the rest of the cars high standard, there are no rips or tears in the seats of headliner and the carpets, trims and cards are all in good order.
Summary: Overall this traveller has been very well looked after by her previous keepers who looked after her very well and spent a lot of money on her picking up a lot of recogntion at shows.
She has only had 4 keepers so has not been abused in her lifetime and is ready to be enjoyed and good to go for another 50 years.
