Description
Triumph TR7 Cabriolet, 96, 237 km, not guaranteed, left-hand drive for the Swiss market, nothing to fix either mechanically or bodywork, unless you want to change something. The door trim is lavender blue velvet and PVC, the upholstery is the same with no wear or tears, protected by black covers matching the black carpet. The hood is new and made by a saddle-maker. Since its purchase in 2016 I have covered only 38, 700 km and €12, 000 in maintenance and repair costs on invoices. Unlike other TRIUMPHs, the TR7 is a monocoque (unibody) with retractable headlights and a crisp-edged silhouette, 4. 065 m long and weighing 1, 000 kg, wheels fitted with 175/ 70 SR13 tyres. It abandons the six-cylinder engine in favour of a new inline four-cylinder engine inclined at 40° with 2 litres displacement, 105 hp, 1998 cm³, single overhead cam, with two SU-HS6 carburettors, electrically assisted steering (Alford & Alder) with rack and pinion, front disc brakes and rear drums, diaphragm clutch (Borg & Becker)… it remains front-engined. The Cabriolet version by Giovanni MICHOLETTI will be produced from 1979, at 29, 000 units. Best offer. Historic vehicle registration; next inspection due 26/ 5/ 26. Best offer, the EXPERTISE REPORT valuates it at €9, 000.
