For sale due to new bike. GS550ET US import in black (not UK colour) bought 4 years ago from Oxford Classic Motorcycles. Very good condition. Registered as classic so no MOT or Tax required. Owned by a fair weather rider and kept in warm dry garage. Lots done including new headlight, seat recovered, carbs and brakes thoroughly overhauled, engine cases polished, new steering head bearings, etc. Good tyres. Recently had new NJB custom shocks, regulator rectifier and battery. Benefits from original toolkit, chrome mudguard and exhaust system. Includes Puig screen. Runs and rides really well. No test rides, no brokers and no silly offers please. Back in the day then GS550 was my favourite bike. It handled well, performance was good and it was reliable. After 25 out years of biking I decided I wanted to ride again and this bike came up in a local dealer. One I saw it I had to have it. In 4 years every ride has been good fun and I've enjoyed improving it in lots of ways. However I've just got a mint 1989 XJ600 so it has to go to make room.
