1946 Ariel VB 598cc – Rigid Frame, Girder Forks, Original Tinware
For auction is a 1946 Ariel VB 598cc, one of the few post-war models built with a rigid frame and girder front forks. This very rare example retains its original tinware, including the instrument panel in the petrol tank, along with the original tank, frame, and period-correct components.
The bike was restored in the early 1980s, with invoices to show the work carried out, and has been very well looked after ever since. Powered by Ariel’s single-cylinder 598cc engine, it’s a highly collectible post-war machine, lovely machine ideal for vintage rides. A genuine piece of Ariel history with excellent provenance
