PORSCHE 911 S/ T 1970 ...
This 911 S/ T 2. 3 L was bought new from Porsche in 03/ 1970 by AAW Racing Team, the team owner Anti Aarnio Wihuri comes from a Finnish industrial family, this 911 S/ T has a complete owner history 1970 – 2023, the documentation includes invoices from the motorsport department, a Porsche certificate stating that this vehicle is included in the motorsport department, all work in the racing department is documented, and the preparation for the 1000 km race in 1971 at the Nürburgring was also carried out at the Porsche factory. That Vehicle has been fully restored, using some original parts.
There is a folder with many original pictures from the period also from the 1000 km race in 1971 Nürburgring with Porsche works driver Björn Waldegaard and Leo Kinnunen.
This 911 S/ T 2. 3 L won the GTS Class Plateau 5 24h Le Mans Classic in 2022. The vehicle has an FIA HTP and a Road approval incl. German vehicle registration document.
The Porsche factory has now presented a 992 S/ T, which is a particularly light Heritage model, about 40 kg lighter than a 992 GT3 a lot of lightweight components were used and only 1963 992 S/ T will leave the Porsche factory.
It is a tribute to the 911 S/ T from 1970, a particularly lightweight sports model that was used in the period on all race tracks of the world both on the race tracks and in the rally and were very successful in sports.
