THIS stunning 1954 (January) MG TF remained with the same family from the day it left the dealership until very recently. Certainly, according to a detailed history, for more than 60 years!
Beautiful panel and paint work, a lovely underside and a stunning interior with matching biscuit coloured hood. All in all, a delightful example and I would imagine extremely difficult to beat at my asking price. A great deal of attention has been paid to detail on this early build TF. It is probably even better in the flesh than it appears in my photos!
Wire wheels were an option at new according to the British Motor History Heritage Trust certificate. It also states that it was sold at new to a Mr Holmes. History goes on to explain that it remained with the family for the best part of 70 years. Amazing! It was built in December 1953 and despatched to the dealer later that month. Mr Holmes registered it ion January 21, 1954.
