Description
MG TF1500 restoration project with salt water flood damage (Florida, USA). Previously body-off restored in the 1990’s by MG specialist Geoff Wheatley (restoration plaque present).
The car was briefly submerged in approximately 1 metre of water. Engine, gearbox, rear axle, steering box and electrical components require rebuilding. Engine currently seized. Fuel tank remained unaffected.
Chassis shows surface rust and should be blasted and repainted. Body is generally straight and was previously finished in 2K paint but would benefit from repainting.
A complete and solid restoration candidate of the desirable TF1500 model.
