Description
motodrome offer this very smart 2002 Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 County Station Wagon 6 seater, finished in Blue with White roof and contrasting grey techno cloth trim.
First registered January 2002 (so nearly US exportable) this is a genuine station wagon not a conversion from a van, and, being a 2002 model, benefits from the uprated 15P TD5 engine.
In largely standard and unmolested spec, apart from the wheels which have been changed from the original Boost alloys to Wolf heavy-duty style white steel rims, which set it off nicely.
Also full County interior trim including 6 seats and cubbybox in Techno cloth, sunroof, sliding side windows and alpine lights, chequerplate to modesty covers and rear quarters, rear step, original style sidesteps, mudflaps, and towpack
Inside, it still sports it’s original Land Rover stereo, centre cubby box, and rear seat belts for the folding seats.
As with all CSW’s at this age, it has electric front windows and remote alarmed central locking.
It’s also fitted with the full-height bulkhead removal bar, which makes it far more comfortable for the taller driver
Odometer reading 142000 miles supported by a very large file of bills and old MOTs, with the bills going back to 2002 and it’s first main dealer service.
Most unusually for one of it’s age, it’s never failed an MOT (or had any advisories) for structural corrosion. Defenders over 20 years old are very, very hard to find now with that sort of MOT history.
Comes with MOT to 31st October 2026 and 6m warranty on sale
Being a factory TD5 version, it nips along very quickly with good punch from the Turbodiesel motor
On test on arrival it performed without apparent fault. Just a nice, unmessed with example that hasn’t led a hard life.
On our own website, you’ll find our usual 2 videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description
