Description
La Laverda was very active in grand fondo racing, and for these events it prepared a 100cc displacement motorcycle *** two camshafts with pushrods and rocker arms, which is really unusual.
Many parts differed from the standard model.
The wheels were interchangeable, the front could ******* with the rear and vice versa.
The front fork was quick-detach*** with caps on the gaiters for oil filling.
The handlebars were set low and bolted under the steering plate.
The panniers had the top closure.
The engine was totally different *** the left crankcase cast in the ground.
The kick-start lever was retractable.
The valve cover had no breather, the breather was located in the engine crankcase.
The head featured enlarged valves and a bronze crown.
The spark plug was 10 mm.
The tappets were on rollers *** eccentric adjustment.
The two camshafts were obviously more aggressively driven and the carburettor of larger diameter.
In short, a small true racing motorcycle.
