The Carrera GTS is an exceptional model even in its most ‘standard’ configuration. Factory boosted power rises to 444 hp and 550 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels via the 7 speed PDK transmission with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Engage Sport Plus through the Sport Chrono Package, this is a convertible that will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3. 7 seconds before continuing on to a top speed of 191 mph - roof up or down.
Its stance is accentuated by the wider rear arches of its all-wheel drive brethren, sitting 20mm lower on PASM, with 20 inch satin black centre lock 911 Turbo S alloy wheels. A Sports exhaust system with centrally positioned twin tailpipes in black complements the SportDesign front valance and wing mirrors, and the tinted tail lights. This one benefits from the optional tinted LED main headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, black painted badges, plus front and rear ParkAssist.
Retract the convertible roof and you are greeted by the desirable GTS interior package upgrade – black leather and Alcantara with Carmine red contrast stitching, seat belts and instrument dials. These details blend beautifully with the carbon fibre trim for the dash, centre console and door trims. The upgraded 18-way electrically adjustable heated Adaptive Sports seats Plus with leather backs provide exceptional support, whilst the heated GT Sport steering wheel with PDK paddles adds further comfort on those chilly mornings.
This GTS also benefits from cruise control, auto dimming mirrors with rain sensor and a BOSE Surround Sound System. Porsche Communication Management (PCM) features voice control, online navigation, digital radio and telephone module with MirrorLink (CarPlay/ GAL).
Delivered in March 2018 by OPC Bristol to the first of three keepers.
