1934 Riley 9 Kestrel
Few British manufacturers embraced the elegant styling of the Art Deco period quite as successfully as Riley.
Introduced following the success of the original six-cylinder Kestrel unveiled at the 1932 Motor Show, the Riley 9 Kestrel combined the marque's renowned engineering with beautifully streamlined fastback coachwork. Its distinctive profile made an immediate impression and remains one of the most attractive saloon designs of the period.
This particularly appealing example has benefited from considerable recent expenditure, both mechanically and cosmetically, with much of the work entrusted to well-known marque specialists Blue Diamond Riley Services.
Fitted with the desirable all-helical manual gearbox, the car offers the smooth, refined driving experience for which these Riley models are so highly regarded.
A comprehensive history file accompanies the car, including invoices and documentation detailing the extensive recent work carried out.
An increasingly sought-after pre-war Riley, this handsome Kestrel represents an excellent opportunity to acquire one of the marque's most elegant and usable sporting saloons.
