Description
The "bullnose" Morris Oxford is a series of motor car models produced by British manufacturer Morris from 1913 to 1926. It was named by W R Morris after the city in which he grew up and which his cars were to industrialise.
This Bullnose Morris Oxford was first registered in Edinburgh and has travelled the length of the country spending a number of years in Surrey before heading up North again.
The car was restored to a very high standard in the 90s it was a complete nut and bolt strip down which including a new ash frame.
The Morris recently been stood for some time and now requires TLC. The Bullnose does run and drive, it just doesn’t drop! During the restoration it was fitted with hydraulic brakes, and recently the hydraulic components have been refurbished but the system now needs setting up.
The body is very solid, and the paintwork has been finished to a high standard, it does have some battle scars but on the whole presents very well.
The interior is in lovely order and was retrimmed at the time the work was carried out. The hood is in good condition and also comes complete with a rear screen.
The car is being sold as a project, that’s hopefully with a small amount of effort can be put back on the road. We have a massive history file, which includes photos of the restoration as well as the current V5.
