1972 Fiat 500L
This beautiful example is presented in dark blue with black interior trim with the benefit of alloy wheels and a sunroof complimented by a rear mounted picnic hamper!
The vehicle has been fitted with an upgraded 650cc engine giving it a great performance enhancement
The car was imported direct from Italy in 1996 and the previous owner bought it when it was on display at Goodwood revival in 2011
In the previous owners words “I fell in love with the car as it was displayed next to 3 Ferrari's and creating more female admiration!”
Since then the car has been part of his private collection and it would appear unused since 2012.
Since we acquired the car we have carried out a thorough recommissioning which has included such things as new rubber brake hoses x4, new brake cylinders x4, new tyres all round, new battery new fuel tank and fuel hoses.
We can report that the car is a joy to drive and has a spritely performance
This really is a lovely looking 500.
The underbody is in very nice condition and you can tell its spent its working life in a hot Italian climate. We have applied Lanoguard protection to the underbody in addition to mechanical work. The website pictures do give a very good idea of the car so please study.
The car comes with a file of service history.
