This is an aluminium flat bodied TK with an even older demountable, Luton type, coach built wooden horse box. We used it regularly for our shires, 18H plus, until our dozy gelding broke the rear ramp which is still broken. Side ramp and jockey door OK
Started a rebuild but never got finished as now have a slightly newer TK, sad isn't it !
6cyl diesel, 5 speed overdrive, cruises happily at 60 ish.
Cab is pretty good, no damage, floor good, new wings, front and rear both sides. underside all done but it was about 10 years ago so will need a bit more now but doesn't look bad.
Brakes all done, new seals all round, new hoses, ALL new brake pipes. New hand brake pads and rebuilt caliper. Rebuilt brake booster with new pipe work.
New front wheel bearings.
Brand new fuel tank and mountings, new fuel line, new lift pump.
All new radiator hoses and heater hoses.
Good 7. 50 x 16 tyres, some nearly new and another complete set of wheels and tyres to go with it.
Has been stood for about eight years but starts well and will drive anywhere. NO MOT
